about highschoogle

we are

a site designed for, by and about high school students, providing a wide variety of interesting, reliable and entertaining information on a range of topics that teens have told us they are interested in. we are definitely a work in progress, freshmen so to speak. we’d like your help in improving the site and want to hear your thoughts and ideas. we hope you will get involvedget in touch, tell us what you think (we can take it).

we are not

social networking site or a college search site. we are not a site that’s just going to lead you to bunch of other sites. instead, we want to provide interesting content on a whole lot of stuff and point you to the best of what’s already out there. we’re not sure anyone really needs 463 homework help sites – but we’ll tell which ones are best and why. we’ll even tell you which ones your peers think are the best and why.

we want to be

the most comprehensive site on the internet for teens. we want to be a site you will visit daily. a place where you will want to hangout (often),  find out (what’s happening), check out (the latest styles and trends), chill out (with some fun and unusual stories) and hopefully be inspired (in your choice of college or career or to take a trip).  we hope you can help us get there.

our philosophy

we value knowledge, curiosity, creativity and freedom of expression.  we value, humor, new ideas, and tolerance.  these qualities drive every part of highschoogle. caring, giving and sharing are a core part of our philosophy and we want you to be part of it.  highschoogle will contribute 5% of our annual profit to a charity or charities selected by our members. as we said, we value sharing, and we are anxious for your involvement and contributions for content as well as the overall direction of highschoogle.com.

most of all, we value you, your thoughts, energy, ideas and optimism.
