bent out of shape

There are a bunch of new tech devices that are being made with malleable (good SAT/ACT word)  materials.

The flexible tablet pictured above will be able to bend as much as 40 degrees from the center, is one-third the thickness and one-half the weight of an average glass display, and mimics the look and feel of traditional newspapers and books.

Amtel’s XSense is flexible phone. Made without edges, bezels or casing, the curved ultra-thin contact receptors can be bent and contorted to fit any shape while maintaining the screen’s image and touch accuracy.

Samsung’s Mobile Display is an ultra-thin, transparent and bendable concept computer. This hybrid smartphone-tablet gained attention with this video below.  Though it is in Japanese, you will understand just how cool it is.
