clever designers offer teen fashion options for spring 2012

The beginning of a New Year always brings excitement and anticipation concerning new spring fashions. So what’s in store for teens this spring?

A lot of black and white in geometric shapes walked down the runway as dresses and tops accentuated by black slacks. Also designers showed a whole lot of white. It seems that clothing items sans color were definitely predicted to be in style for teens this spring. Accessorize with texturized colors to give the outfit just a bit of visual interest.

Lace paired with florals sort of the “Tea with the Queen” look was shown by some designers in dresses and skirts but if that’s just not your “cup of tea”, then maybe you’ll like the designs featuring trendy lacey skirts, dresses and tops that are considered teen fashion forward. These pieces only require a structured jacket and a pair of boots to make that lacey look rocker chick chic.

One exciting look designers introduced for spring will delight retro fans. A 1920s flapper girl look complete with drop waist and fringe strutted the catwalk with a grand 1920s sparkle and shine. Look for dresses and tops featuring that boxy silhouette with the flirty flair of the 1920s and pair the inviting tops with some eye-catching skinny jeans like a pair of the popular colored denims.
