Psy tops the Billboard Social 50 for the third week in a row as he continues to showcase his “Gangnam Style” song and its signature dance in the United States. Last week, he appeared on MTV’s Video Music Awards broadcast (Sept. 6), which furthered his rise in online standing.

The Social 50 chart ranks the most popular artists on YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, using a formula that blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with weekly artist page views and weekly song plays.
