Today, April 12th is Teen Lit Day and there are many ways you can get involved and celebrate this important holiday.

Here’s how you can Rock the Drop and get involved with the initiative being led by readergirlz and Figment:

1. Print out a bookplate (or just put a stickie on your book) to explain that your book is part of Rock the Drop.

2. Leave your chosen Young Adult book in a public place where you think a reader might find it (see above location ideas).

3. Snap a pic of your drop and post it on the readergirlz Facebook wall or tweet your drop with the #rockthedrop hashtag (it will be jumping all day long on Thursday).

Choose any book you love and want to share (bonus for one of the books pictured, all of which just made the American Library Association’s Top 10 Most Challenged list for 2011).
