Peter Jackson has released his latest video blog from the production of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

The director’s seventh clip shows the project’s work from Stone Street Studios, Miramar, Wellington in New Zealand.

Orlando Bloom appears at the end of the video wearing his Legolas wig, claiming that he has been filming the blogs as his “pet project”.

James Nesbitt, Billy Connolly and Luke Evans are also among the actors who feature in the blog.

The video also gives fans glimpses of the studio’s art department, along with prosthetics, hair and make-up and costumes among others.

Jackson also says that the next video blog will be his last, as it will be released after the first film is wrapped in a few weeks’ time.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will debut at the Embassy Theatre in Wellington, New Zealand on November 28, two weeks ahead of its official opening.
